Lazy Cabbage Rolls

This Lazy Cabbage Rolls recipe is perfect for a big family meal on a busy week night.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground beef / moose
2 onions, chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium cabbage, chopped
2 tbsp. tomato paste
2 cans tomato sauce
2 tbsp. worcesterchire sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. paprika
salt & pepper to taste
3 cups basmati rice
grated cheese for serving
(optional)
Directions:
In a large saucepan, fry ground beef or ground moose over medium heat until browned.
While frying beef, cook 3 cups of basmati rice in a large pot according to rice instructions.
When ground meat is close to browned add the onion, minced garlic, tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, chili powder, parsley flakes, paprika, salt & pepper, and cook stirring often until onions are translucent and meat is cooked, about 5 more minutes.
Add tomato sauce and cabbage, stir often and cook until cabbage is tender.
When rice is finished cooking, add the cabbage-meat mixture to the rice pot.
Mix well
Enjoy served with grated cheese on top.
